As a result of the "Fit for Purpose" review carried out in 2009 the Partnership Board have agreed that the priorities are:
1. the delivery of the Infrastructure Delivery Programme and Local Investment Plan helping to ensure that critical infrastructure is put in place in a timely manner;
2. the attraction of inward investment to bring new jobs;
3. the housing market intelligence and interventions to unblock stalled housing delivery; and
4. the delivery of critical growth areas projects such as Phase Two of the Bedford Western Bypass.
We are now almost two years into the delivery of our current three year Business Plan 2008-11.
We have taken the priorities established by the review and built them into the work streams for 2010-11 that are set out later in this document.
The plan and works streams have been approved by the Renaissance Bedford Board, Bedford Borough Council's Executive Committee and the Cabinet of Central Bedfordshire Council. The work streams will also be fed into the next three year plan commencing April 2011.
